Jorge Suárez

Jorge Suárez is the Deputy Director General of Emergencies in the Valencian Community. He is currently newsworthy due to his involvement in the investigation surrounding the handling of the DANA (isolated high altitude depression) event. Suárez confessed to a judge in Llíria that the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana requested the audio of a conversation between an Aemet (State Meteorological Agency) official and a 112 Emergencies technician, which was later leaked to the media. Furthermore, Suárez provided handwritten notes to the investigation, the authorship of which was initially questioned. Former Justice and Interior Minister Salomé Pradas has since acknowledged writing the notes, leading her to request the suspension of a handwriting analysis.
