King Charles III is the current monarch of the United Kingdom. He is newsworthy due to his upcoming state visit to the United States, scheduled for late April. This visit is occurring against a backdrop of strained relations between the UK and the US, primarily stemming from disagreements over the Iran war, with Prime Minister Starmer refusing to join the US-Israel war.
