Mar Cambrollé

Mar Cambrollé, a trans woman and Miss Trans Zamora, was the victim of a violent assault in La Bañeza, León. The attack occurred on a Saturday night when she attempted to use the restroom at a pub. A group of eight to ten individuals, reportedly women, confronted her, denying her access to the women's restroom and verbally abusing her with transphobic slurs. The situation escalated into a physical assault, resulting in severe injuries, including bruising and potential eye damage. Cambrollé reported the incident on social media and to the authorities. The attack has brought renewed attention to the issue of violence against transgender individuals and highlights the ongoing discrimination faced by the LGBTQ+ community in Spain. The incident is currently under investigation.
