Yemen’s Houthis claim responsibility for attack on Saudi oil refinery
Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for a drone attack on a Saudi oil refinery in Jazan early Sunday. This incident follows Saudi Arabia signing a defense pact with Turkey and Pakistan amid regional instability. The attack also occurred as Iran issued demands for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, linking it to US actions and compensation. The United Arab Emirates also reported its ship was targeted by an Iranian missile. Saudi Arabia's energy ministry confirmed a fire at the refinery, which was extinguished with no injuries. The Houthis stated they used a drone and have previously targeted Saudi oil infrastructure.
