Giants Brigades

Yemeni forces, aligned with the internationally recognized government, are engaged in a significant military operation against the Houthi rebels (also known as Ansar Allah). This conflict is currently highlighted by a broad air campaign launched by a Saudi-led coalition, involving approximately 100 jet aircraft. The operation, dubbed 'Dawn of Yemen,' targets Houthi positions along the Red Sea coastline and in the capital, Sana'a. Recent developments include claims by Yemeni forces of seizing key positions near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, a vital waterway. This offensive aims to counter Houthi advances and reassert government control. The involvement of regional powers like Saudi Arabia and the strategic importance of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait underscore the current relevance and significance of these ongoing military actions in Yemen.
