Eduardo Barba

Eduardo Barba is a gardener, landscaper, and botanical researcher. He is currently newsworthy for curating the exhibition "La botánica en el arte" (Botany in Art) at the CaixaForum Girona. This exhibition features approximately fifty works from the Museo Nacional del Prado, spanning the 16th to 20th centuries, and explores the symbolism of plants in art. Barba highlights the growing disconnect between people, especially those in urban environments, and the natural world, a phenomenon he calls "plant blindness."
