Frank Torres

Frank Torres is the Director General of Indra Land Vehicles. He is newsworthy due to Indra's recent alliance with the South Korean company Hanwha to fulfill a significant contract worth 1.97 billion euros awarded by the Spanish government. This contract involves the production of new tracked armored vehicles for the Spanish Army, in collaboration with Escribano (EM&E). The alliance aims to facilitate technology transfer, allowing Indra to modify the design of howitzers and export them. According to Ángel Escribano, president of Indra, this initiative is expected to create 500 direct and 2,000 indirect jobs, highlighting its industrial and economic significance. The intellectual property of the howitzers will belong to both the Ministry of Defence and Indra.
