In Spain’s Ceuta, migrant women tell of sexual harassment: ‘it’s really bad’
Migrant women who entered Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta on July 30 during a mass crossing are experiencing sexual harassment while sleeping rough as they await registration. Over a dozen women have established a camp on a roadside near the government-run migrant reception center, which is currently housing approximately 700 people, exceeding its capacity by 200. The women report that the difficulties of their current living situation are worsened by the fear of sexual harassment.
