Charlotte Head

Charlotte Head, 29, is a pro-Palestine activist associated with the group Palestine Action. She gained recent notoriety due to her involvement in a 2024 raid on the UK site of Israeli defense firm Elbit Systems. Head, along with several other activists, was accused of aggravated burglary for their participation in the break-in at the Filton factory near Bristol. The charges stemmed from allegations of threatening unlawful violence and using sledgehammers during the protest, which involved driving a prison van into the factory. After a trial, Head and five other activists were acquitted of the aggravated burglary charges. Prior to the acquittal, Head spent 18 months in pre-trial detention, during which she attempted suicide. Her barrister compared her to the suffragettes, highlighting her dedication to her cause.
