Iran war live: Tehran sets terms for peace; Saudi forces foil Riyadh attack
The Houthi movement in Yemen, officially known as Ansar Allah, has launched ballistic missiles, drones, and cruise missiles targeting two sensitive Saudi sites, including King Khalid International Airport and Aramco oil facilities in Yanbu. This escalation follows a period of reduced cruise missile use by the group and is presented as a response to ongoing Saudi bombardment campaigns in Yemen. According to Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree, these attacks are also a reaction to Saudi propaganda accusing Ansar Allah of targeting Mecca. The Houthi movement stated its intention to hold Saudi Arabia accountable for these accusations and to escalate military actions in response.
